FAQ

Questions before booking.

What kind of photo should I bring?
A bright, high-resolution photo from your smartphone or camera works best. Kyoto travel photos are especially meaningful, but family, couple, pet, and scenic images are also welcome.
Can I take the artwork home the same day?
Yes. Your A4 metal artwork is created during the experience, revealed, packaged, and ready to take home the same day. A 3D floating magnetic mount is included.
Can I use a photo that was not taken in Kyoto?
Yes. You may bring any meaningful photo you own or have permission to use. Kyoto travel photos are a wonderful choice, but they are not required.
How many people can join?
Each session welcomes up to 5 guests. It is designed for couples, friends, small groups, and solo travelers.
Is this a tea ceremony?
No. It is a relaxed matcha moment with a short demonstration and hands-on whisking inside the studio, rather than a formal tea ceremony.
Is chair seating available?
The studio uses floor cushions on black tatami. Chair seating is not available, so the experience may not be suitable for guests who have difficulty sitting on the floor or standing up from floor seating.
Can I bring a suitcase?
Large suitcases and oversized luggage cannot be brought into the studio. Please use nearby station lockers or hotel luggage storage before arrival.
Is it suitable for rainy days?
Yes. The experience takes place entirely indoors and is a calm option for rainy days, hot afternoons, or a quiet break between sightseeing.
